Jasmine is a passionate “change-maker” and through her research on broadening participation within communities of color in forestry and natural resources fields, is helping to create a more holistic and just environment.
Lauren Cooper
Lauren CooperDirector, Forest Carbon & Climate Program, Michigan State University
Lauren’s work leading the Forest Carbon & Climate Program includes supporting international forest conservation and wood use linkages to sustainability, specifically socio-ecological carbon cycling, conservation incentives, and carbon storage in wood utilization.
Alicia Cramer
Alicia CramerSenior Vice President, U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities
Alicia’s focus at the Endowment is socio-economic program oversight and new program development; she has spent most of her more than thirty-year career in the forest sector, where she has been able to develop programs and spearhead initiatives with positive environmental impact.

Asia’s work explores the cross-section of nature’s role in urban development, specifically the relationships between forests and the development of urban forest management plans, regional water resource management, and hazard mitigation.
