WHAT WILL A DELEGATE DO?

Delegates will play a critical role at the inaugural Women’s Forest Congress. Delegates will be responsible for leading and synthesizing discussions and making formal recommendations. They’ll facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among the Women’s Forest Congress community with the ultimate goal of presenting and endorsing the WFC Resolutions at the Congress.

Delegates will review and refine draft outcomes, measures of successes, goals, and resolutions in advance of the Congress. With full access to all Congress general and concurrent sessions, Delegates will engage with attendees, listen to presentations, and meet in Delegate-only deliberations during the Congress to capture and suggest revisions to the Resolutions and provide the final draft for voting and approval on the final day of the Congress. The approved WFC resolutions will be shared publicly following the Congress.

Financial assistance for Congress participation (i.e., travel expense reimbursement or registration discounts) is available as needed.
