Women’s Forest Congress Registration Types and Associated Fees

In-Person Registration fee includes:
Full general and concurrent session access; Workshop and participation in Congress theme discussions; provide input/feedback to proposed resolutions developed by theme content development sub-teams. Meals starting with reception and dinner on October 17, all meals & snacks on October 18, and breakfast, lunch & snacks on October 19.
Virtual Registration fee includes:
Full general session access; provide input/feedback to proposed resolutions developed by theme content development sub-teams; and access to our virtual event platform for networking and engagement with other remote participants.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing prior to Monday, September 19, 2022. Refunds will be given less a $50 USD processing fee. No refunds will be issued after September 19, 2022.

Exceptions to this policy will be given if canceling due to COVID-19 illness or suspected illness. If you are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms (see CDC list of symptoms) or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the 2 weeks prior to the Congress, we ask you to cancel your registration immediately, without penalty.  If you are required to cancel your Congress registration due to possible infection, illness, or caring for an ill household/family member, please send a request in writing to receive a full refund, transfer your registration to virtual participation, or make a substitution to a colleague, whichever is most appropriate for your situation.

Transfer/Substitution Policy

If you are no longer able to attend the in-person event, you may request your registration be transferred to another individual within your organization as a substitution. Additionally, you may choose to transfer your registration to virtual participation. Only one transfer and/or substitution will be allowed per registration. All transfer or substitution requests must be made in writing prior to Monday, September 19, 2022, and sent to info@womensforestcongress.org.

Scholarship and Reimbursement Policy

The Women’s Forest Congress Steering Committee has prepared a Scholarship and Reimbursement Policy and Procedure to support participation and attendance of the WFC 2022 Inaugural Event on October 17-20, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We are NOT currently accepting requests for financial support, as the submission deadline has passed. Priorities for financial support include students, individuals on a fixed or limited income, individuals without employer support, self-employed people, and underrepresented identities and/or communities. Additionally, within our limited resources, we will prioritize providing support for presenters, delegates, and participants from the United States, US Territories, and Canada that have demonstrated financial need.

Please note: submitting a form does not represent an offer of financial support.

The Women’s Forest Congress is interested in providing financial assistance in the form of:

  • A waiver of the registration fee or discounted fee for the Congress, and/or
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses to the Congress
